Sunset and storm clouds over the New York City skyline.
During sunset, after a heavy rain, clouds which once covered the sky like a thick, dark purple blanket open slowly to reveal the last blue hues of the day. The sun’s flame dips closer to the horizon, its scintillating luster reaching up to the clouds behind the structures that dominate the landscape.
